PiLeJe expertise
Ingredient information: Porphyral HSP®
Porphyral HSP® comes from an edible alga. It is able to produce stress proteins, the tiny cell repairers made by our cells when they encounter a situation that compromises their survival (such as stress caused by the sun’s rays for example).
The extract of Porphyral HSP® has properties that limit cell damage. In fact from 0.3%, it is able to reduce by 95% the number of lesions caused by UV, which is comparable to the protection offered by a chemical UV-B filter.
PiLeJe has registered a patent in relation to the development of the ingredient Porphyral HSP® from the edible alga Porphyra umbilicalis.
