In 2007, the benefits of Lactibiane Reference, the first product launched in 1991 by PiLeJe, were proved to the very highest scientific standards. For the first time in France the clinical trial*, co-ordinated by Pr Philippe Marteau, demonstrated the effectiveness of a probiotic mix in the treatment of Irritable Bowel Syndrome : a reduction of -42% in abdominal pain. This trial officially confirmed many doctors’ medical observations over a long period of time. The Lactibiane range has expanded and benefits in concrete terms from the many areas of probiotics research that are developing world wide.
